
THE NEPTUNE-CHIRON CONJUNCTION IN PISCES
The present conjunction of Neptune and Chiron began when the two planets first moved into orb early in 2009 and will continue through until 2013. This makes it a longer, more powerful conjunction than the previous one (1945 in Libra) lasting only a year. This can be explained by Chiron's elliptical orbit – he progresses three times more slowly through Pisces than through Libra.
