The Brighton and Hove Astrology Circle
Affiliated to the Astrological Association of Great Britain
Aim: We are a non-profit-making group devoted to promoting a wider appreciation of astrology in today's world by bringing together professional astrologers, hobby astrologers and students. We offer talks, discussions and like-minded friendships.
Time and Place: Thursdays 8.00 - 9.30pm at Revitalise 86, Church Road, Hove. All welcome on a drop in basis. Cost £6 and £4 for members (includes tea or coffee).
Programme: Talks offered by experienced astrologers on different subjects to do with astrology. Most meetings are suitable for both beginners and advanced.
Membership: The yearly membership fee is £15. Membership can be taken out at any time during the year.
Course: Our new club evenings, at which different activities to do with astrology will be on offer, are open to all. (Free for members.)
Study Day: Our new Saturday Study Days will offer repeats of three past talks, to be chosen by participants, and plenty of time for questions and discussion.

BIOGRAPHIES
Phoebe Wyss Hove astrologer with 32 years experience in giving consultations courses and workshops, founded this group in 2005. She's published a board game, two books on the astrological archetypes, and has written a series of 12 astrological plays.
Pam Carruthers is a professional certified Western and Vedic astrologer. She works as a counselling astrologer, life coach and facilitates healing workshops. See her website www.healingstars.com.
Trav Travers’ interests lie in both horary and traditional astrology. Having studied with Barbara Dunn, Olivia Barclay and John Frawley, he runs his own weekly traditional group 'The Astrological Explorers'.
Julian Venables Hove astrologer with a Faculty diploma, writes daily horoscopes and contributes a regular podcast to iTunes 'the astrology show'. He has also written some interpretations for the Solar Fire Gold software.
Greg Szanto who trained with the Faculty and obtained their gold medal, has been practising astrology for over thirty years. He is the author of two best selling astrology books, and a professional counsellor who lectures and trains other professionals.
Isabelle Ferreira de Sousa is a self-taught astrologer with diplomas in Graphology, Morphopsychology (character analysis based on facial features) and Psychology on which she is writing a book. She is presently a student of BAPS, the British Astrological and Psychic Society.
Bernard Honey, a S.London/E.Sussex-based astrologer & career guidance counsellor, who studied with the Faculty, interprets horoscopes for clients, teaches astrology to beginners and therapists.
Alan Card, Brighton astrologer, is well known for his column in the now defunct New Insight magazine. As 'the celebrity's astrologer' he has had a career in the music business, and still has an astrology spot on 'Love Inn', an evening show on 'Juice' radio.
John Wadsworth, Glastonbury astrologer, with an MA in Cultural Astronomy & Astrology has practised astrology for 18 years. He co-created The Alchemical Journey, a 12-month programme based on astrology which includes walking the of the Glastonbury landscape zodiac.
